ZapSpot, INC. Announces Yet Another #1 CNET Game Release

ZapSpot, Inc. delivers its fourth blockbuster game in less than two months--with each game generating over 100,000 downloads on CNET's www.download.com.

New York, NY, November 18, 2000 - ZapSpot, Inc. announces today that it's most recent application release, Jewels of Anubis™, has generated over 100,000 downloads in its first 10 days of release, making it the fourth game in a row that has generated over 100,000 downloads from CNET's www.download.com, and placing yet another ZapSpot release at the top of CNET's Top Games Downloads list.

In addition, Jewels of Anubis has received a 92% approval rating from visitors to www.download.com, making it the seventh ZapSpot application that has receive approval ratings greater than 90% from CNET users.

"One of the missions behind ZapSpot is to create a technology and platform that allow users to quickly and easily find, collect, and share small software applications," says Dan Frumin, President and CEO of ZapSpot. "We've spent a ton of development effort in making software that is small enough to send in e-mail, downloads quickly, and can be experienced with no set-up or installation hassles. The result of that work can be seen in the high download rates, pass-along rates, and user loyalty that we're seeing from people that experience ZapSpot either as first time users or as repeat customers. And we're very eager to watch what happens as our network continues to grow organically through pass-along and word-of-mouth."

Since its founding in February of 2000 and its launch on April 2, 2000, the ZapSpot Network has grown virally with no additional marketing or user acquisition efforts. Today, the network generates over twenty million minutes of usage time per month and several hundred thousand downloads per week.
